Video: Easy Install & Setup of Bus-Powered D-Wire Sensors

D-Wire sensors are a great way to expand the capabilities of your RTU. The RJ12 sensors are bus-powered and daisy-chained, making them easy to set up. And when connected to your DPS device, supported sensors are almost completely auto configured.

The video above shows just how simple it is to connect the daisy-chainable sensors up to your RTU (in this case, a TempDefender G2, a small, budget RTU capable of monitoring server closets and smaller sites).

DPS Telecom makes a wide variety of sensors, including:

  • Temperature/Humidity Sensor
  • Analog Expansion
  • Wind Speed Sensor
  • Air Flow Sensor
  • Vent Sensor
  • Temperature Probe Sensor
  • Vibration Sensor
  • And more.

DPS can also make custom D-Wire sensors. If you have an application for an enviromental sensor we don't currently make, give us a call at 1-800-693-0351 to talk to a DPS expert.
