DPS Adds Building # 2

Shortly after moving to its new facility at 4955 E. Yale in Fresno, DPS Telecom negotiated the acquisition of a vacant building immediately across the street.

"Even before the move, we knew we needed additional space," commented DPS President Bob Berry. He continued, "It was very fortunate that this property became available at the right time. Otherwise, we would have to wait for the construction of an additional building."

Building #2: Directly across the street from the new DPS Telecom headquarters.

Building #2 will be used for overflow manufacturing space, storage, trade show booth construction and the metal fab shop. This will allow us to become more vertically integrated and provide faster turnaround times for clients.

Barbara Tuttle Heads Production

Barbara Tuttle

Barbara Tuttle wants to see your order go out the door quickly and accurately. As DPS' production manager, she makes sure the right materials are on hand to fill your order and she selects only the most qualified workers to assemble and test it.

"Not only do we need to meet shipping deadlines, but everything must be right when the customer opens the box," notes Barbara. "To be sure our goals are met, we must carefully track raw material inventory and be sure every order is correctly filled. It does no good if the equipment is wrong or defective when the user goes to put it into service. A key part of our effort involves training and properly equipping production personnel."

Barbara is a long-time DPS employee who has worked in several capacities. One of her positions was working directly with DPS' partners in inside sales, giving her the unique ability to understand the needs of our partners.

"I know many of our customers depend on our equipment for critical applications. The real boss in our operation is the one who opens the box out there somewhere. I want to make that person happy."
