Joel was hired as a sales support staff member after sending DPS his resume in response to an ad on a job board. Joel had some previous sales support experience and majored in business. However, he was completely new to the monitoring industry.
In his role as a sales support staff member, Joel was able to learn about DPS Telecom's product line and services. He assisted the senior sales staff in developing quotes and proposals, and was able to better understand the needs of DPS clients by interacting with them. Joel says, "I always made it a point to review the proposals I was assigned. I enjoyed the challenge of coming into work and learning something new everyday."

As his sales expertise and product knowledge developed, Joel began advancing within his department. Joel's important role as the DPS Sales Manager involves working with clients from numerous industries all over the world. Joel provides them with information on our real world monitoring products, services and solutions everyday. Joel says, "My favorite part of my job is when I help a client solve a complicated problem.
