Rick Dodd's voice may be familiar if you have called DPS sales lately. Rick has been with DPS over 5 years and has grown into more than just a "salesman". Rick is now creating custom solutions for our clients, working closely with our engineering and production departments.

"He has the ability to listen to the client's needs and figure out which of our products would suit them best. If Rick feels that custom engineering is needed to meet special requirements, he is the first person to draw up a plan and make sure everyone is on the same page. Through the whole process, Rick is constantly developing a strong working relationship with our clients to make sure they are getting exactly what they need," comments Director of Marketing, Darin Simmons.

Rick comes to DPS with more than 13 years experience in the paging, 2-way radio and SMR (specialized mobile radio) fields.

When asked what he liked about working at DPS, he said he finds the atmosphere at DPS to be exciting... "Absolutely exciting!" He further elaborated, "It's great to work with energetic people. Before starting his work in the communications industry, Rick worked as a professional photographer. He studied the subject at a local college and worked mostly on outdoor subjects. Rick now enjoys photography as a hobby.
