Full Specifications: NetGuardian 420

NetGuardian 420 Back Panel
The NetGuardian 420 back panel has dual power feeds for increased reliability. It has inputs for the discretes, analogs, and control relay outputs. The 420 has a 10/100 LAN jack for SNMP alarm reporting and email/cell phone notifications. There's a POTS/dial-up telco jack for alarm reporting (usually a backup for LAN in our modern age). It has a 4-port terminal server for remotely accessing serial equipment.

The NetGuardian 420 is a medium-sized remote. It has all of the core capabilities as the proven NetGuardian 832A. The 420 model is simply scaled back to roughly 60% of the capacity. If you like the NetGuardian 832A but don't need that amount of capacity, the 420 is a great option.

Like most NetGuardian RTUs, you can choose to report to a T/Mon master station or to any SNMP manager. The 420 platform even supports SNMPv3 if you need that level of security.
