June Shipments set DPS Record
A new record for dollar value of shipments was set in June 1999.
Heavy orders coupled with new automated insertion equipment coming on line made it possible to exceed the old record by nearly 25% while increasing our workforce only about 10%.

July is expected to nearly eclipse June, both months that are typically slow. "Summer time is normally when we catch up and begin to build stock for the anticipated fall increase," stated Production Manager Barbara Tuttle. "Now we're gearing up for even greater loads in the fall," she concluded.
New products are beginning to utilize surface mount technology (SMT), which also increases manufacturing volume.
"DPS will continue to explore ways to bring our partners fast turn-around and support for their special needs," commented DPS President Bob Berry. "One of our current projects is to fabricate custom chassis parts in house with computer controlled routers to cut and form sheet metal. It's all to improve the level of support for our partners."
