President's Letter: The Human Touch...

The telephone is still the most effective communications tool ever. Considering all the options we have today, such as FAX, E-Mail, video conferencing and the Internet, I think it still wins, hands down. After all, these options are only derivatives of the original device, and there's nothing like a person-to-person, real time conversation to effectively communicate with our "partners."
That's why we consider it so important that you get a fast response and a real person when you call DPS. We have our phone greeters on the job from 7 AM to 6 PM, Pacific time. Even after hours you can still get a real person in a relatively short time by activating our emergency tech support paging system, right from your own phone.
As DPS grows, one of our primary concerns is maintaining an effective level of support for our partners. That's why I've established the DPS University, a comprehensive training program for partners and employees. We have enlisted the help of Dr. Rassoul Yazdipour at Fresno State University's Craig School of Business to create this program. It includes internships to prepare promising students for the telecom field.
The goal of these programs is to give even better service to you - our partners.
