Up to three NetGuardian DX Expansion Units can be added to a NetGuardian 832A, providing 144 additional alarm points.
The NetGuardian DX G4 and G5 Expansion Units are low-cost, self-contained devices that provide the NetGuardian 832A G4 or G5 with an additional 48 ground-activated discrete alarms per unit. With the capability of adding up to 3 NetGuardian DX Expansion Units, at 48 alarm points per unit, an additional 144 discrete alarms can be provided to the NetGuardian 832A G4 or G5.
With the addition of 1, 2, or 3 NetGuardian DX units, the alarm capacity of a NetGuardian 832A can quickly be increased, up to a total of 176 alarm points.
To make expansion a simpler and less expensive task, each unit is equipped with dual RS232 ports so that Expansions can be daisy chained to one another. In this way, currently deployed NetGuardian 832As can be easily expanded.
