Request InfoOverview: The Powerful Dual-Mode NetGuardian E16
The NetGuardian E16 is a new addition to the NetGuardian family. The E16 is a compact and powerful stand-alone RTU. With 16 control relays and 16 discrete alarm inputs, it offers cost-effective monitoring for sites where you need a lot of controls but not a lot of alarm points.
The E16 is able to communicate via UDP, serial, or using 202 DCPx. Additionally, the front panel LEDs give immediate local visibility of alarm state and network status.
Secondary Echo Mode:
Utilizing echo technology, the NetGuardian E16 can create visibility at previously unmonitored sites. The E16 is a specialized RTU that utilizes a dedicated "echo" application to communicate directly with a second E16. The relays on the 2nd NetGuardian E16 operate when the 1st NetGuardian E16 detects an alarm or vice versa. This allows for extended alarm monitoring from a base RTU without the cost of laying copper.
Easy Windows Configuration
T/NGE16 is the windows-based provisioning utility for the NetGuardian E16. Field technicians can use its single, uniform interface for setting up the NetGuardian E16 's control relays, alarm inputs, and testing network connectivity.
