As you may have read in the email newsletter earlier this month, our T/Mon LNX upgrade program is now in full swing. We've created a lot of interesting opportunities for T/Mon NOC and IAM users to upgrade to the latest T/Mon hardware platform. T/Mon LNX supports SQL history logging for exponentially faster reports, more TCP sockets for more ASCII-Processor jobs, and our intuitive new Web 2.0 interface. We've also announced the new NetGuardian 216 Test Box. Just like similar boxes for the 832A and 864A that were released earlier, this test box allows you to simulate incoming alarm conditions and watch for the results to appear on your RTU and/or master station interface. It includes a toggle switch for every discrete input, potentiometers (knobs) for the general-purpose analog inputs, and LEDs to monitor control relay output. If you'll be in California in the future, give our office a call so we can schedule a visit. By the way, lately I've had the opportunity to meet several of you that way, and have enjoyed the face-face visits, as well as the chance to give you a tour of our facilities. We're within a few hours' drive of San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Sacramento. If you're further away, you can always fly into the Fresno airport (FAT/FYI). We're located just 2 blocks from the terminal, and we'll even pick you up. Until next time, |
