President's Letter: June 2009

I’m pleased to announce that DPS Telecom is now ISO 9001:2000 certified. DPS has always has always placed a very high emphasis on quality and standard operating procedures. As such, we were well positioned for going through this certification process.

So what does this mean to our clients? Well, a few things. First, it means that, as good as our quality management system was, it's now better. Second, it conveys to our clients the DPS commitment to quality using a uniform standard. As such, it greatly simplifies aspects of the due diligence and process that new DPS clients will have as part of their vendor approval process.

Throughout our history, the DPS manufacturing process has been periodically reviewed by several big name OEM’s and high volume users (sorry, can’t name drop). In all cases, we've had favorable reviews. However, with the benefit of this certification, these types of visits might be mitigated (though we really did enjoy having the additional opportunity to share our facilities with our clients).
