Welcome To Summer!
Welcome to summer. Kids are out of school. The days are longer. It's that time of year when many people go
on vacation. If you are going on vacation, all of us at DPS hope you have a great time. Here's a quick DPS
vacation checklist:
- Make sure all your remote monitoring equipment is up prior to your trip.
- Has the person filling in for you been to DPS Factory Training?
- Have you rescheduled your T/Mon to notify someone else? If you never are unplugged from your network, at least make yourself the second person on the escalation chain.
- Have you ordered or approved all the monitoring gear your engineers will need?
- Have you backed up your data? You'll need it if others help you a bit too much while you're gone.
- Don't forget the sunblock!
We're getting close to the halfway point of the year. Our engineers have been working on some pretty
interesting things, and you will get a sneak peak in our next issue.
In this issue, we will focus on several aspects of TL1 protocol.
By special request for all of you who have been asking for a single document that details our product
families, we have created a 2007 Product Showcase. You will be surprised to find out how many new and improved
products we have.
Finally, if you need to locally issue a control in the field in response to certain conditions, then you will
find the Derived Control techno knowledge paper included in this issue very helpful.
Best Regards,
