"DPS Telecom Donates $100,000 to CSU Fresno..."

DPS Telecom CEO Bob Berry and Dr. Nagy Bengiamin of Fresno State

DPS telecom has donated $100,000 to California State University, Fresno's Lyles College of Engineering.

The money will be used by the electrical and computer engineering department to work on projects that will allow the students at CSU Fresno to gain real-world, hands-on electrical and computer engineering experience.

Students will also be given the opportunity to gain hands on experience with DPS through various internships that are made available throughout the year in the DPS engineering department.

"It has always been a goal of DPS Telecom to work with local engineering students," said DPS Telecom Human Resource Manager Rosa Maravilla. "We want students to know there are engineering career opportunities here in the Central Valley at DPS Telecom."
