| Monitoring BiDirectional Amp Alarms with an Alarm Point Conditioner |
How This Application Works:
| Equipment Used: |
|
Option #1 features the APC equipped with a Wire Wrap back panel. You will be able to terminate the alarms directly to the back of the unit via its wire wrap pins. The only tool you will need is a wire wrap gun.
Option #2 features the APC equipped with a connectorized back panel where you can terminate alarms via its screw down type connections. The only tool you will need is a phillips type screwdriver to screw down the alarms. The connectorized connections will make installation an easy process for terminating alarms.
The APC will convert up to 36 alarm points to common-referenced (ground) contact closures, which will then be monitored by your existing AlphaMax. The APC will be the ideally suited for interfacing with your TTL type alarms from your BiDirectional Amp. The difference between the two options are the alarm termination connections on the back of the unit.
