"How the Smarter, Faster NetGuardian G5 Will Take Your Monitoring to the Next Level..."

If you're looking to equip your remote sites with monitoring technology that will keep up with your network, you're at the right place. The NetGuardian G5 boasts several enhancements from previous NetGuardian models, including advanced hardware, increased processing speed, and enhanced security options. The NetGuardian G5 is available with 32 (832A) or 64 (864A) discrete alarm points.

The Powerful NetGuardian G5

The higher speed processor allows you to process alarms faster than ever before. This new processor will provide you with significantly faster web page views. It also supports more processor-intense functions, allowing you to perform advanced monitoring applications with your NetGuardian 832A G5 RTU (Remote Telemetry Unit).

DPS has also expanded the memory capacity of the new NetGuardian. The NetGuardian G5 has more RAM and flash memory than any existing generation of NetGuardian. This allows you to give your RTU (Remote Telemetry Unit) substantially more functionality using the addition memory space. This also allows you to utilize the NetGuardian 832A G5 for the implementation of security functions where security is a must along your network.

These features add increased functionality to the existing powerful features of the NetGuardian 832A remote family. These existing features include 8 controls relays, 8 analogs inputs, and 32 discrete alarm inputs for monitoring all of your important discrete and analog alarm points. The remote is also packed with 32 ping alarm inputs, dual-NIC, hub option, and power options, enabling you to customize your NetGuardian RTU (Remote Telemetry Unit) to meet the needs of your network sites.

All of these features have been integrated into the NetGuardian 832A's new case design, featuring general improvements as well as more specific new features. Now, the NetGuardian G5 casing allows you to adjust the NO/NC Form-C relays and your analog's voltage and current settings without having to take the top off of the chassis using the NetGuardian G5's convenient access panels.

Along with the new casing, the NetGuardian 832A G5 also provides you with new connectivity options. Now, the NetGuardian RTU (Remote Telemetry Unit) provides a 10/100 BaseT Ethernet interface for both network ports. It also provides you with dual fuses for dual power in your NetGuardian deployment. With separately fused A and B power feeds, the NetGuardian 832A G5 also provides you with easy installation and turn-up.

The next-generation of NetGuardian offers you dual fuses with separately fused A and B power feeds

An additional RS485 port has also been added to the NetGuardian 832A G5, allowing you to interface your remotes to GLD and ECU. This added serial port provides you with even more terminal server functionality when combined with the eight existing RS232 ports provided in the previous generation of NetGuardian.

The NetGuardian 832A G5 also gives you new build options to maximize your analog monitoring. The new generation offers you with an external temperature sensor build option that uses one of the eight analog channels within the NetGuardian.

Outside of the hardware upgrades, DPS has also improved the NetGuardian 832A G5's NetLoader download machine. This new version is designed to work better on your busier networks. With improved error checking, you'll also be notified with greater consistency than ever when case packets don't get through the communications network.

DPS Telecom is proud to offer the new NetGuardian 832A G5 as a continuation of their commitment to superior client service. Designed with the features our clients have requested in mind, the new NetGuardian 832A will provide you increased functionality of your monitoring system, increasing your network uptime and making your job easier.
