T/Mon Alarm Master Platform

T/Mon is an alarm master platform designed and built by DPS Telecom.

Advantages of T/Mon:

  1. Multi-protocol compatibility:
Modern networks have evolved gradually over decades. You're probably dealing with a fair amount of legacy equipment. To continue using functioning legacy gear in the era of modern protocols, you need a modern master that remains compatible with older protocols as well.
  2. Flexible notifications:
Every network has different needs. You might have a 24/7 NOC center, but you might also be a smaller company with just a few technicians. T/Mon allows you to choose on-screen display, email alerts, and/or phone alerts when new alarms come in. You can also allow alarm type and severity to determine the notification type (more important alarms demand a more disruptive alert).
  3. Flexible capacity:
You shouldn't pay for what you won't use. Whether you're a small rural telco or a massive multi-national corporation, you can choose a T/Mon plaform that's scaled for your needs. You can also choose software modules based on the protocols you use in your network.

T/Mon models:

  1. Large T/Mon LNX:
Modern networks have evolved gradually over decades. You're probably dealing with a fair amount of legacy equipment. To continue using functioning legacy gear in the era of modern protocols, you need a modern master that remains compatible with older protocols as well.
  2. Medium T/Mon SLIM:
Every network has different needs. You might have a 24/7 NOC center, but you might also be a smaller company with just a few technicians. T/Mon allows you to choose on-screen display, email alerts, and/or phone alerts when new alarms come in. You can also allow alarm type and severity to determine the notification type (more important alarms demand a more disruptive alert).
  3. Small T/Mon MINI:
You shouldn't pay for what you won't use. Whether you're a small rural telco or a massive multi-national corporation, you can choose a T/Mon plaform that's scaled for your needs. You can also choose software modules based on the protocols you use in your network.

T/Mon GFX is a graphical mapping application in the T/Mon web browser interface. Using GFX, it's easy to create layers of maps that allow you to drill down to a single alarm or device point.

The video above will walk you through how to create a map profile and a map, add images, add nodes, and configure alarm points. Once your map is made, head to monitor mode to see your map. COS's will cause your map points to flash and the ring around your points will change color when an alarm comes in. Always be able to tell your tech exactly where to go when they get to a site using GFX.
